CCAs support individuals of all ages by aiding them in both activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), across diverse care settings. To become a certified CCA in Nova Scotia and qualify for employment, one must complete the NS CCA Program from a licensed education provider and pass the NS CCA Certification Exam successfully.
