Why do you need Food Handler Certification?

As of September 1, 2006 the City of Toronto requires all food establishments to have at least one certified food handler on each shift that can supervise. This will be enforced by Public Health Inspectors effective January 1, 2007. Failure to comply can and will result in fines.

Having this certification can increase the marketability of personal support worker and food service workers as many workplaces are making Food Handler Certification a condition of employment due to the City of Toronto by-law. We ensure that our students have that extra qualification that can make difference in obtaining employment in their field of study!

We teach you what you NEED to know! We offer the convenience of daytime, evening and weekend courses; our courses are affordable, taught by knowledgeable instructors and are designed to help you pass your Food Handler Certification Exam successfully. Also, the smaller class room size (20 student maximum) allows for focused learning.
