Medical Lab Technician

If you are detail-oriented, have good manual dexterity, and strong communication skills, you could have the right personality to enter the high-demand Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician career field.

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician, you would be a member of a laboratory that provides diagnostic services. You would collect and assess samples of bodily tissue and run different diagnostic tests on it, using chemical analysis, microscopic examination, or other techniques. Setting up, operating, and maintaining the lab equipment would be a part of your role, as well as making quality control assessments.
