Personal Support Worker

Personal Support workers are in higher demand now that the Canada’s healthcare system continuously progressing. Acquire the knowledge and skills needed to offer person-centered care and support clients’ physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being in in community health care, long-term care homes, retirement homes, and hospital settings.

Graduates of the Personal Support Worker program are prepared to provide care to clients of any age who have specific health care needs, such as assisting with everyday activities. The students will learn to make a difference in the lives of clients in all health care settings by alleviating loneliness, providing empathy, ensuring comfort, encouraging independence, and promoting self-respect through theory classes and experiential learning opportunities, including simulation and clinical placements.
