PREVENTIVE DENTISTRY SCALING

The Preventive Dentistry Scaling module at CDI College offers Registered Dental Assistants (RDAs) in Manitoba the opportunity to expand their skillset. A blend of theoretical home study and hands-on clinical training, Preventive Dentistry Scaling helps RDAs expand their practice and take on more duties on the job.

By the end of the module, students will be able to identify teeth and tooth groups in both children and adults. They’ll be able to describe the type of tooth, its location and anatomical features. Other topics covered include the stages of periodontal disease, plaque control programs, medical patient charts, proper use of instruments, and much more!

Not a Registered Dental Assistant? CDI College also offers the Intra Oral Dental Assistant program in Winnipeg.
