Business, Accounting, Marketing Programs

  • The Virtual Assistant course is designed to get you working in as little as four months. This self-paced training gives you the ability to build a career working for various organizations or create your own at-home business

  • In the Accounting Assistant program students will learn accounting and office skills. Upon successful completion students will have knowledge of office programs, manual accounting, computerized
    accounting, and payroll.

  • The Office Manager Certificate program will equip students with skills in following: Office Administration, Management, Leadership, Computers Technology, Presentations, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Business Communication. Students who complete this course will be able to secure positions as Office Managers, Office Administrators, Office Supervisors, Human Resource, and Marketing personnel

  • The Advanced Certificate in Business program provides practical skills and theoretical business knowledge employers need. The Advanced Certificate (AC) in Business provides current insight into the main aspects of international business with a focus on business management and human resource management. It covers business culture and strategy, managing people in different sizes of organizations, marketing, economic issues, accounting, business law, and IT.

  • The Diploma in Business Co-op Path courses provide practical skills and theoretical business knowledge employers need. The Diploma in Business Co-op covers the main aspects of business including management, human resources, economics, and administration. It will equip students with an awareness of key issues and practices within a changing business environment.

Human & Social Services, CSW Programs

  • The community support worker course is a 6-month program that provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful Community Support Worker.

    The course entails classroom instruction, as well as fieldwork placements. Students learn about the various roles and responsibilities of Community Support Workers, as well as how to effectively communicate with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health issues.

    This course offer students the opportunity to learn about the various services that Community Support Workers provide. They also cover the importance of developing trusting relationships with clients and working collaboratively with other service providers.

    Students who complete community support worker courses will be prepared to make a positive difference in the lives of those they serve.

Languages, ESL Programs

  • The Essential ESL and Skills Validation (EESV) program is unique in that it is designed to validate English language proficiency, reveal the transferable knowledge, skills and abilities that students already possess and prepare them for entry into a Canadian workplace.

Legal, Policing Programs

  • This course will teach students note taking and report writing, statement taking and interviewing skills, relevant communication and active listening skills, the Court System in B.C./Canada, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom, Privacy Legislation, Human rights, the Rules of Evidence, Civil/Criminal Liability, Criminal Code of Canada, Federal, Provincial, Municipal Legislation, including various local government statutes

  • This course builds upon the skills taught in the Bylaw Officer Level 2 Course. It will refresh students’ memory in proper note taking, report writing and investigational procedures skills. It will explain the challenges of dealing with people with mental health issues. It will discuss the cultural diversity, Multiculturalism, and the Canadian Mosaic. It will teach them how to use digital cameras to produce photographs for evidence, the framework of Local Government, Building Bylaws and Compliance, Personal Safety Skills, Credibility and cross examination, the Powers of Arrest, Stress Management, Swear an Information, attend Court and put Court Packages together and participate in a mock trial.

Technology, Networking Programs

  • The Advanced Certificate in Computing: Software Development (ACSD) provides practical skills and theoretical knowledge employers need. This is a very practical and intense program that require a good amount of work from the learners on their own as well as with the instructors. It may also allow advanced entry into the Advanced Diploma in Computing: Software Development program. The ACSD program is a project-based program, which allows students to use their theoretical knowledge learnt during the program in the project assigned to them

  • The Advanced Diploma in Computing: Software Development provides learners with a progression route into employment. It also provides opportunities for further study, including university degree programs. This program provides current skills in specialist technical software development, and it develops up-todate knowledge in programming and systems development.

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Advanced Security Specialist (PGD in ITASS) program is designed, such that students will be prepared to meet the information technology`s industry demands. It covers most popular industry platform such as Microsoft Operating Systems, Linux Operating Systems, Mail Administration, Security policies, procedures, and technical implementation of security standards, Forensic inspection, ethical hacking and penetration testing etc.

  • In this Big Data Analyst course, students will learn various big data tools, techniques, and analytical methods used for data-driven decision-making.

    The students will develop essential skills and extensive knowledge for organizing, managing, and analyzing data at large scale and gain an understanding of how raw data can be transformed into meaningful insights to inform intelligent business decisions.

    The program will also equip individuals with critical skills in programming frameworks for big data, computational thinking, algorithmic design, data-driven analysis, and effective data visualization through a range of lab-oriented courses and case studies.

  • The Blockchain Technology course will introduce students to the concepts, tools, and development of blockchain technology. The program not only provides learners with an understanding and practical knowledge of blockchain fundamentals but also an essential skill set for designing and developing smart contracts and methods for developing decentralized applications on the blockchain.

    The program will further provide an in-depth exploration of a wide range of other concepts including cryptocurrency, FinTech, blockchain platforms and frameworks, and secure peer-to-peer transactions.

  • The Cloud System Administrator program is intended for individuals who are seeking the working knowledge of and certification in computer and systems-related administration. Through this program, students will have the opportunity to work on modern popular operating systems including Microsoft Windows Server and Linux.

    As a graduate of this program, students will be equipped with the essential skills and knowledge to install, configure, and upgrade both software and hardware, troubleshoot computer networks, operate Windows PowerShell for task automation and configuration management, create and manage system permissions and user accounts, and perform regular security tests and security monitoring.

  • The cybersecurity analyst course is designed to equip students with the necessary skills, practical competencies, and knowledge required for securing digital devices, computer networks, software, and cloud-based systems. The program aims at developing cybersecurity skills to detect, protect against, respond to, and recover from cyberattacks.

    The cybersecurity analyst course will introduce students to the principles of cybersecurity, explore emerging technologies, examine security threats and protective measures, and investigate high-skill and high-demand career opportunities required for a successful career in the field of cybersecurity.

  • The Data Science Professional program will prepare students with job-ready skills and knowledge for an entry level data scientist role. Students will learn the foundational principles of data science, participate in hands-on skills-based practices, and acquire the knowledge and practical competence to help industries inform smart decisions.

    Students will work with a wide variety of data sources, project scenarios, and data science tools and techniques. The program will offer practical experience with data manipulation, analytics, and visualization techniques. The program will develop the confidence and equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to begin a career as a data scientist or data analyst.

  • The Network Administrator course is designed to provide students with the foundational concepts and working knowledge of securely running and maintaining an IT infrastructure. More specifically, the course will equip students with an extensive set of essential skills and knowledge required for monitoring, maintaining, upgrading, and securing an IT infrastructure including computer hardware and software, networking devices, and cloud-based system.

    Through this course , students will learn how to plan, design, manage, troubleshoot, expand, and optimize today’s most advanced computer networks seamlessly and efficiently and provide technical support to end-users experiencing network problems.

Travel, Tourism, Hospitality Programs

  • The Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Co-op Path program develops skills and knowledge in a range of technical skills such as itinerary preparation, fare calculations, documentation completion and user skills in computer reservation systems as well as generic skills in business, information processing and management skills, problem solving, information and communication technology areas and interpersonal skills

  • The Advanced Certificate in Travel and Tourism provides current insight into the main aspects of travel and tourism. It covers air travel, marketing, customer care, tour guiding and resort representation, international tourist destinations, business communication, and IT.
