In the Denturist program, you’ll gain an understanding for the full scope of practice in both clinical and laboratory environments, including the building of complete and removable partial dentures, dentures on implants, and managing a professional denturists’ practice.

Additionally, you’ll also learn about pharmacology, oral pathology, gerontology, clinical and laboratory infection control, and head, neck and dental anatomy.

After successful completion of the Denturist program at CDI College, graduates can seek employment as a denturist practitioner, clinic owner, and dental appliance manufacturer/supplier at a dentist-owned clinic or laboratory.

Prior to graduation, you’ll intern at a denture clinic. After you complete your internship portfolio and the theoretical, jurisprudence, complete denture and clinical exams, you’ll be ready to apply for certification to the College of Denturists of British Columbia.
