Graduates in Electricity can anticipate a promising and diverse career path within a field brimming with opportunities. The Electricity program equips you to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
This full-time program encompasses a total of 1,800 hours and is divided into 24 competencies. By blending classroom theory with hands-on experience, students cultivate the skills needed to efficiently and safely carry out various roles, functions, tasks, and activities in the field.
At the Aviron Technical Institute of Montreal, students are prepared to install and maintain electrical systems across residential, commercial, industrial, and public work sectors. Installation activities primarily occur within the construction sector, where the apprenticeship scheme of the Commission de la Construction du Québec (CCQ) applies. For other sectors, Emploi-Quebec’s apprenticeship scheme is in place.
