As an Industrial Drafter, your role involves translating the concepts of engineers into manufacturing and construction specifications. Utilizing AutoCAD software, you’ll create a range of technical drawings and documentation, covering power train systems, piping, circuits, fasteners, mechanisms, machine housing, and assembly details.
Herzing College’s Industrial Drafting program equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to produce technical drawings and data essential for manufacturing and construction. The program offers flexibility with options for either an 18-month or 24-month diploma program, includes comprehensive training in AutoCAD software, a 3-week internship, and multiple program start dates throughout the year. Financial assistance may also be available for eligible students, making this program accessible to those looking to embark on a fulfilling career in industrial drafting.
