Bay River College’s one-year Information Technology and Network Administrator diploma program prepares students to confidently tackle the day-to-day responsibilities of managing computer information systems for businesses of any size. Graduates of the program will be prepared to deal with an organization’s need to optimize and maintain their digital and hardware infrastructure.
Students in the Information Technology and Network Administrator program receive a working knowledge of Local Area Networks, their application within Wide Area Networks and their inter-connectivity to nodes, servers, and other end-user devices. Students will also become familiar with web server management and its connectivity to local networks. Students can expect to learn a variety of essential IT skills, including managing system and client software, web page integration and creation, network security measures, user accounting and monitoring network event logs for problem resolution.
