Master of Management

Jump start your career with Crandall’s Master of Management (M.M.). This program offers students a solid foundation of business training and leadership development to prepare for a career in the business world.

This two-year, 36 credit-hour program is open to students from a variety of educational backgrounds; apply with a bachelor’s degree from nearly any discipline! Build on the knowledge and expertise you developed in your undergraduate studies and develop the management skills necessary to succeed.

You’ll also have the opportunity to build relationships and expand your network through our international classroom, collaborating with students from around the world. The program also includes the option of a paid internship, where you can gain valuable experience that will count toward your degree!

Program Highlights:

  • The Master of Management is a two-year, 36 credit-hour program for students who hold a Bachelor’s degree from nearly any discipline (e.g. B.A., B.Sc., B.Ed., B.Th.), designed with international students in mind;
  • Classes are small and personal – they are capped at 25 to allow professors to build strong relationships with the students;
  • The program enhances students’ interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, and problem-solving and decision-making abilities, as well as expanding their understanding of research techniques and applications;
  • The delivery pattern of the program allows students the flexibility to find part time employment if desired (and permitted by an international student’s study visa – usually up to 20 hours per week);
  • Successful completion of the program makes international students eligible to apply for the Government of Canada’s three-year Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).

Career Outlook

Master of Management grads are well-prepared to jump into their careers. Their unique combination of skills and experience can make them attractive to companies with opportunities for advancement, especially when their undergraduate degree is in a field other than business. For example, a student with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree would find that the management and leadership training offered by the M.M. degree serves as an excellent complement to the hard skills gained from their previous studies, giving them an advantage over someone with a B.Eng. alone.
