In today’s automotive landscape, vehicles are growing increasingly complex, and graduates of Aviron Technical Institute’s mechanics program are well-prepared to comprehend the intricacies of these various components.
Automobile mechanics are versatile professionals, primarily responsible for maintaining motor vehicles in peak condition, while adhering to stringent health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
Our program, spanning 1,800 hours, offers you the opportunity to become a skilled mechanic. Over the course of the program, you will complete 29 competencies, providing you with hands-on experience in traditional and computer-controlled motor vehicle components and systems. This includes the drive train, standard and automatic transmissions, the differential and shafts, hydraulic and air suspension, the steering system, brakes, carburetors and related devices, the starting and charging system, and electric and electronic accessories.
