Certified Personal Support Workers are trained to give significance and meaning to the lives of their clients as they deal with the effects of aging, injury, or illness. Aims Healthcare College offers a curriculum that will meet the client’s needs and the requirements of various workplaces where Personal Support Workers may be hired. This training program replaces previously required training for Health Care Aides, Home Support Workers, Attendant Care Providers and Respite Workers. To become certified as a PSW, you must complete a course of classroom work and practical experience where you are trained to deliver health care services safely and effectively. The instructors and placement host regularly evaluate the class and clinical practicum to ensure we offer our students the best quality education.
