Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate III – Distance Education
The Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate is a distance education program equipping students with necessary knowledge, hands-on skills, and soft skills to provide respectful and appropriate care to individuals in a variety of facilities – from long-term care and retirement homes to supportive housing, adult day programs, and more. Beyond the program coruses, students participate in interactive lab sessions and clinical placements under the guidance of experts in the field: 400 hours of online synchronous theory and practicing through in-person interactive lab sessions, 200 hours of Clinical Placement (Facility) and 100 hours of Clinical Placement (Community).
