The Veterinary Assistant diploma program provide you with the administrative skills needed for the veterinary office and animal care environment. Gain an introduction to the field of veterinary medicine, nutrition needs and nursing. Throughout the program, you will acquire an understanding of purebred cats and dogs, how to identify breeds of cats and dogs and discuss their health care requirements. Develop real-world work experience through an 8-week field placement so that you graduate with the skills and experience that employers want.
